What is an API?
An Application Programming Interface (API) is a way for different software systems to communicate and exchange data automatically.

Activity Statement (BAS)
- QuickBooks
- MYOB AccountRight
MYOB doesn't provide the ability to pull BAS report from AccountRight API. This report is available only within AccountRight portal/application and cannot be imported from MYOB.
- Xero
LodgeiT supports only Xero legacy activity statement reports (OLD UI import). Learn more
SMSF Import
Currently, we don't have plans to build the tax return API in the short term, but we are gathering feedback and investigating potential use cases.
You can only import for the following:
Client and CRM API
Clients syncing and integrations in general is our top priority task.
We have an API in the works but V1 will simply be Client read-only. V2, we will hopefully allow API inbound clients.

Mass mail
We do not have the integration yet, as a workaround, you may export the client list to CSV, then upload to something, like MailcHIMP. Related guide: Client Export/Extract (CSV or Excel)
Notifications
based integrations are on our product roadmap, as we recognise the need for automated, real-time updates with internal systems. However, these features are not available yet, and there is no technical documentation or sample code at this time.
Ledger
We dont have ledger in LodgeiT, but you may iintegrate it to your accounting software (QBO, Xero, Myob) to generate financials and import in LodgeiT.

1. What is the main purpose of having an API between _______ and LodgeiT
2. Can you tell us more about your customer? Is this an accounting firm or a software company?
3. If it's a software company, What kind of product is it and what does it do?
4. If it's an accounting firm, How many clients you serve?
5. If it's an accounting firm, Do you currently using LodgeiT?
6. What is the approximate volume of the tax returns you expect to be lodged via LodgeiT through the integration? Are you planning to use lodgment capabilities?
7. What tax return types you are interested in?
8. Does it mean that your customer has all tax return data including all the schedules required by the ATO to be imported into LodgeiT or the data is partial and requires manual entries on the LodgeiT side as well?
