Verifying E-Signature Requests vs. Out to Sign

Before proceeding, please confirm whether you sent the document using “Request E-Signature” and not “Out to Sign”.

Check the Audit Trail

You can verify this via the Audit Trail. See example below:

If the Audit Trail indicates that the form was sent for e-signature, please check your mailbox (e.g., Google, Microsoft, etc.), provided the Outgoing mail server  has been set up.

  • If an outgoing mail server (SMTP) has been configured, copies of the sent emails can also be found in your provider’s Sent folder (e.g., Microsoft Outlook Sent Items). Please check there for confirmation. Since these emails are sent through an external SMTP provider, we are unable to track their delivery status. However, if any issue occurs during delivery, the user will automatically receive a failure notification in their own mailbox.
  •  If the emails appear in the Sent Items folder and no bounce-back messages were received, this indicates that they were successfully sent. At this point, no further action is required on LodgeiT technical team's end.



If using "LodgeiT" as default, we can check and investigateon our back end.
