Erorr: LGT.GEN.ERR.0000014 - TFN and ABN on the Tax Return doesn't belong to the same entity. Make sure to enter correct TFN and ABN on the tax return.

Guidance:

  1. Verify ABN and TFN

    • Confirm that the ABN (Australian Business Number) and TFN (Tax File Number) entered in the Tax Form are correct.

    • A common issue occurs when the form is in Locked status due to changes made in the Client’s settings.

  2. Check for Consistency with ATO Records

    • Ensure that the ABN and TFN entered in LodgeiT (client's "Settings") exactly match the details registered with the ATO.

  3. Disable Business Section (if ABN not required)

    • If an ABN is not needed for the client, you can disable the Business section.

    • Since this section only contains the ABN and Trading Name, disabling it will resolve the issue.
