Error: CMN.ATO.CUDTL.EM61047 - User permission is insufficient.

Solution: This is an ATO error, check on the ATO portal if you have a permissions for the client such as an access to read their contact details.

Notes:

  • LodgeiT makes an additional API request to the ATO to make sure that ABN and TFN belong to the same entity, which requires the agent to have all permissions for the client record on the ATO side. Once the portal is updated, please unlock the form and refresh, to make sure it will sync.
  • In case that the ABN of the taxpayer is cancelled, the user should either remove it from the form or try to lodge with ABN, as this validation does not prevent lodgement of the tax form. But, in this case, ATO may suspend or cancel the tax return.
