Question: I am preparing ETP for the first time and not able to calculate what amount should I enter in Lump Sum A box.
Answer: You will need your income statement or PAYG payment summary. These documents should show the lump sum A amounts.
If you do not have all your payment summaries or comparable statements, then you have to contact the employer or payer for a copy, amended income statement or payment summary, or a comparable statement. If you are unsuccessful in obtaining any of these, see Income statement not finalised or missing payment summary or may contact ATO for this.
