Understanding How LodgeiT Calculates the Tax Offset:

Division 293 tax is an additional tax of 15% on taxable concessional contributions for high-income earners whose combined income and contributions exceed the $250,000 threshold.

LodgeiT calculates this tax offset using data entered in the Division 293 worksheet on the Estimate page of the return if you have filled it.

The calculation is based on ATO rules as explained here: ATO concessional contributions cap and Division 293 tax.

If you have adjustments to super contributions notified by the ATO (e.g., after the return was initially prepared), you must manually enter these in the Division 293 tax section at the end of the Estimate page in LodgeiT. Refer to the guide for entering adjustments here: Adjustment for Super Contributions.
