Question: Please advise how to delete a dividend schedule / line in the company tax return.
The first line is incorrect and would like to remove it. However it does not have a trash can to click. How do I find where it is linked to?
Answer: Should go to "Tools" > Share register >Dividends and remove the dividends paid by the company.
Click the 3 dots and then select Remove to delete the dividends paid input.
After that, imported dividend worksheet in CTR will be removed.
The dividends schedule of the receiver of the dividends (shareholder) should be also gone too.
In case, you can still see the dividend schedule line item in the tax form of the shareholder or receiver of the dividends paid, then just open the dividend schedule (click the line item).
Inside the Dividend Schedule, please click "Open Tax Return", so that the CTR form of the issuer of dividends will be refreshed. Then, go back to the ITR form of the shareholder and refresh the individual ITR form.
Per below ITR form, you can see that the Dividends Paid by Doe Maria Pty Ltd is already gone.
