User DO NOT need to rollback -
If ASSET purchase date later than the latest date depreciation was posted, user will be able to edit it without rollingback (ie, if depreciation was posted until 30 June 2019 and an asset purchase date is 14 August 2019)
If POOL GROUP details depreciation was posted later than opening date, user will be able to edit pool group and its assets. (ie, depreciation was posted until 30 June 2019 and a pool opening date is 1 July 2019)
If DEPRECIATION GROUP details has no assets or all assets have purchase date is later that the latest date depreciation was posted.
User need to Rollback IF the Asset, Pool Group, and Depreciation group is EARLIER than the posted date-
In Deleting or Editing an Asset, you have to Rollback Depreciation from the First Year/Date.
Go to "Tools" and click "Depreciation page"
And select "Rollback Depreciation".
Choose the date of the start of the period prior to the period the asset was added (i.e. if you added the asset on 1 Feb 2018, then you'll need to select 1 July 2017 i.e. start of financial year) , then click "Rollback"
You have to delete "Asset" before deleting "Asset Group".
Click the three little dots and choose either "Remove" or "Edit".
Now, you can remove or edit the "Group Asset".
