Question: I have a client with some assets they use to track their share portfolio. I have used the depreciation tool to calculate the depreciation and told it that group belongs to Financial Investments. I don't see a way to bring that into the return – do I just manually transcribe the total into D8?
Answer: In order to fill D8, please change the depreciation category to Dividends from Financial Investments. The "Financial investments" category is for D6 LVP
1. Add asset via LodgeiT "Tools" > Depreciation
2. Report will show as this -
3. It will auto inject via tax form > D8
