Question:
I am doing an individual ITR which has partnership distribution and I want to deduct motor vehicle expenses against this partnership income at Item 13 of the individual tax return.
The motor vehicle expenses I wish to claim as deductions against non primary production partnership income,
E.g how do a motor vehicle schedule and claim the deduction against non PP partnership income?
Answer:
Only total income and total deductions can be filled in Partnership income worksheet in item 13. The amount can be added line by line, but you should manually write the description for each line item. F.E I suppose car expenses can be added in “Deductions relating to other income”.
If you want to separate sources of income, then PTR can be filled and then total net income can be distributed to selected individual.
