If the imported financial figures are missing in LodgeiT, here are the most common reasons:
  • Wrong financial year selected
    • The data may have been imported into a different year.
    • Check the active financial year in the client file and compare it with the source accounting file.
  • Incorrect report mapping or chart of accounts
    • Some expense accounts may not be mapped correctly during import.
    • Review the account mapping section and check whether the expense accounts are assigned to valid categories.  Learn more from this guide Chart of Accounts and Mapping
  • Zero-balance or inactive accounts not imported
    • Some accounting sources only import accounts with balances or active transactions.
    • Check the source software to confirm the expenses contain actual posted transactions.
