Question: How to report Goodwill of Sale of business in partnership tax return?

Answer: The capital gain related to sale of goodwill should be reported in Capital Gain schedule of the Individual Tax Return of the related partner. Guide: FAQ: Why is there no Capital Gain Tax (CGT) schedule in the Partnership Tax Return (PTR)?
