Should I be adding a client via the tax portal (or the new online services) before adding into LodgeiT? I'm not really clear on how the SBR interaction functions for that. 

Do you have an appointment of tax agent form for client taxpayer to sign?

Answer:

You have to Connect LodgeiT to ATO, all SBR interaction depends on selecting LodgeiT as your preferred SBR Partner via ATO Access Manager.

You need to have an Auskey prior to proceed with the process.
